CORTLAND, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's track and field team competed in the Cortland Classic Friday afternoon into Saturday, continuing to make a push towards personal best times and post-season action.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's track and field team competed at the two-day Cortland Classic held over Friday afternoon into Saturday, making a push towards post-season action and personal best times in individual events.
• Milla Gonzalez (Oxford, N.Y.) posted a time of 13.90 seconds in the 100-meter race, finishing 32^nd, while teammate Aaliyah Standbrook (Clyde, N.Y.) crossed in 14.07 seconds, finishing 37^th overall in the field of 45.
• Laura Powers (Chittenango, N.Y.) competed for Morrisville in the 800-meter race, finishing with a time of 2:34.13, 12^th overall in the field of 26.
• Powers also represented Morrisville in the 1500, registering a time of 5:29.24 to finish 17^th overall among 29 competitors.
• Jaidon Brodie (Mt. Vision, N.Y.) competed in the triple jump, recording a distance of 9.17 meters to finish 15^th overall.

 
WHAT'S NEXT:
 

• Morrisville will participate at the Cardinal Classic hosted by St. John Fisher University on Saturday, a final regular season meet before the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships the following weekend.
