CORTLAND, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's track and field team wrapped up the 2025 season Saturday afternoon at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships hosted by SUNY Cortland at the Cortland Track and Field Complex.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's track and field team closed out the 2025 season Saturday on the second day of SUNYAC Championship action in Cortland.
• Freshmen Jaidon Brodie (Mt. Vision, N.Y.) and Laura Powers (Chittenango, N.Y.) each represented Morrisville in their individual events across the rainy afternoon.
• Brodie failed to register a mark in the triple jump competition for the Mustangs alongside three additional competitors.
• Powers took on the field in the 1500-meter race, finishing with a time of 5:12.72 to earn an individual 10^th overall place among 13 runners.
• Powers maintained pace throughout the race, finishing with a 1.23.39 final lap to earn the 10^th overall finish.
