Box Score PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The visiting SUNY Morrisville Mustangs were unable to get past host Plattsburgh State Saturday night, falling 4-1 in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action in Plattsburgh.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's hockey dropped a SUNYAC decision to host Plattsburgh State Saturday night on the road in Plattsburgh, as the Cardinals collected the 4-1 victory.
• Plattsburgh scored twice in the first period of play to claim the 2-0 lead after one.
• A scoreless second sent the Mustangs in to the final frame trailing 2-0 before a power play score by the Cardinals extended the lead to 3-0 just 3:44 into in the final frame.
• Morrisville was able to put one in the back of the net on a power play of their own midway through the third, cutting the lead to two, but within seconds the hosts regained the three-goal lead with a shorthanded tally.
• Evan Fraccaro (Newmarket, Ont.) collected his second goal of the season, his first on the power play.
• Wyatt Allan (Capistrano Beach, Calif.) and Connor Carlile (Southlake, Tex.) were credited with the assists.
• Grant Linville (Edmond, Okla.) recorded the loss between the pipes, despite a 38 save effort.
