MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville men's hockey freshman goaltender, Chad Lowe (Auburn, N.Y.) put together a record breaking effort for the Mustangs in net in their efforts against no. 1 nationally ranked Hobart College Friday night in Morrisville in SUNYAC play.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting no. 1 nationally ranked Hobart College remained undefeated across the season Friday night as they shut out the host SUNY Morrisville Mustangs men's ice hockey team by a 9-0 final score in Morrisville.
• Hobart took a 3-0 lead after the opening period and extended the advantage to 5-0 after two, before sealing the win with a four-goal final stand in the third.
• Morrisville's efforts against the top ranked Statesmen didn't come without a record-breaking effort by freshman netminder, Chad Lowe (Auburn, N.Y.) who recorded a new single game record 76 saves between the pipes on the night.
• Lowe turned aside 26 apiece in the first and third periods, as Hobart controlled the offensive game with 85 shots on net.
• Maverick Goyer recorded the win in net for the Statesmen, collecting 15 saves, while nine different teammates posted scores, including Bauer Morrissey who put away one and assisted on two others.
