Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College women's soccer team traveled to Penn College for a NEAC conference matchup Saturday afternoon. After a scoreless first half, the Mustangs found the back of the net twice to win the conference game.
Amber Welsh (Cortland, N.Y.) scored at 48:30 on a corner kick, that rebounded off the goalkeeper. Twelve minutes later, Jasmine Wynter (Nedrow, N.Y.) scored the final goal of the game, unassisted.
Angela Marriott (Peekskill, N.Y.) recorded the victory with three saves.
The Mustangs return to the field tomorrow, to take on another NEAC rival, St. Elizabeth.
