Mustang trio named CSC Academic All-District

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) selected its Academic All-District team honorees for Women's Soccer, naming three from SUNY Morrisville to the 2025-26 list.

Callie Lafontaine (Chaumont, N.Y.) earns the honor for a second straight season, while teammates Jaidon Brodie (Mt. Vision, N.Y.) and Rebecca Kench (West Henrietta, N.Y.) receive the recognition for the first time.

The Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Lafontaine, forward for the Mustangs, started all 15 games and collected seven goals, assisting three more for 17 points across the season. Two of her scores were game winners. The senior has excelled off the field as well as a two-sport student-athlete for the Mustangs, earning President's List and Dean's List accolades for the institution, while also earning Scholar-Athlete and SUNYAC Commissioner's List honors.

Brodie, sophomore midfielder, appeared in 14 games for Morrisville, starting six and collected three assists on the season. Also a two-sport student-athlete, she has earned recognition for academic excellence from the institution with Dean's List honors, as well as through the league being named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's List last season.

Kench started all 15 games for Morrisville on defense, and earns the national recognition for the first time in her career. Also excelling in the classroom with Dean's List honors for Morrisville, Kench is a Scholar-Athlete honoree and SUNYAC Commissioner's List recipient.

"Congratulations to Callie, Jaidon and Rebecca for this academic honor," head coach Paul Allsopp said. "All have worked extremely hard both on and off the pitch at Morrisville and been model student-athletes."
