CANTON, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's soccer team picked up a 2-0 SUNYAC win over host SUNY Canton Wednesday afternoon as senior Callie Lafontaine (Chaumont, N.Y.) recorded both scores in the victory.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's soccer picked up a SUNYAC win Wednesday afternoon over host SUNY Canton, recording the 2-0 final decision in Canton.
• Senior Callie Lafontaine (Chaumont, N.Y.) recorded both scores for the Mustangs, the first coming off a deflection into the top right corner for the 1-0 Mustang lead ten minutes in.
• Haylie Buysse (Keene Valley, N.Y.) was credited with the assist on the score.
• Morrisville extended their lead to two minutes into the second half with Lafontaine picking up her second of the afternoon as she cleaned up the loose ball near the net for the tally.
• Alyssa Denton (Castle Creek, N.Y.) picked up her second win in net, recording the shutout with 11 saves, seven in the opening half.
