MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its weekly award winners, naming SUNY Morrisville volleyball junior Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) the league's Offensive Player of the Week for action ending September 6.
 
Eskierka led Morrisville to a 4-1 overall week to open the season, registering a total 77 kills for an average of 4.28 per set.
 
The junior also posted 10 service aces and collected 57 digs, while posting four total blocks.
 
Eskierka had a single match high 17 kills in the match wins over Utica and SUNY Poly, serving a match best five aces against the Wildcats. Come weekend end, Eskierka was acknowledged with All-Tournament honors for her play across the weekend tournament hosted by the Mustangs.
