MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville western equestrian team resumed the season schedule Saturday morning, earning reserve high point team honors at the Oswego IHSA Competition held at the Morrisville western arena in Morrisville.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville western equestrian team resumed the season schedule Saturday morning at the Oswego State IHSA Competition, held at the western arena in Morrisville, taking home reserve high point team accolades.
• Morrisville had four riders place earn either first or second place across the competition, including Bryn Zionkowski (Wyalusing, Pa.) who took home a second place ride in open reining.
• Marrisa Bartholomew (Martville, N.Y.) added a third place finish in reining, before collecting a third in open horsemanship.
• Megan Reaser (Mifflinburg, Pa.) was third overall in ranch riding.
• Joana Koehler (Kerhonkson, N.Y.) was the top rider for the Mustangs in the rookie horsemanship class, finishing second overall, while teammate Madelyn Brien (Paxton, Mass.) also recorded a second place ride in the rookie class.
• Reaser was one of two Mustangs to take home the blue ribbon, claiming the top ride in the Level II western horsemanship class, with Taylor Wooddell (Granville, N.Y.) claimed the win in the Level I western horsemanship lass.
