MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville western equestrian team hosted a double show on Sunday at the indoor riding arena on Swamp Road, with seven total riders taking home winning rides across the day.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville western equestrian team hosted a double show on Sunday at the indoor riding arena on Swamp Road, with seven riders collecting eight total wins across the day's action.
• In the morning show, Bryn Zionkowski (Wyalusing, Pa.) took home the top ride in the open reining class, while Hannah Gill (Liberty, N.Y.) claimed the top ride in the rookie horsemanship class.
• Teammate Taylor Wooddell (Granville, N.Y.) also claimed the blue ribbon in the rookie horsemanship class for the Mustangs.
• In the afternoon show, Megan Reaser (Mifflinburg, Pa.) took home two wins for the Mustangs, the first in ranch riding and the second in level II horsemanship.
• Woodell repeated with a second win of the day in the rookie horsemanship class, alongside Gill.
• McKenzie LaCotta (Canastota, N.Y.) claimed her first win in the beginner horsemanship class for Morrisville.
• Come weekend end, Morrisville had four riders qualify for the regional championships scheduled later this season, including Zionkowski in reining, Bartholomew in open horsemanship and Gill and Woodell in rookie horsemanship.
