MILLS SPRINGS, N.C. – SUNY Morrisville senior western rider,
Jenna Tyson (Pottstown, Pa.) began competition Saturday at the IHSA Western National Championships, completing the horsemanship phase of the high point rider competition at Tryon International in North Carolina.
Tyson is currently in ninth place overall in the standings after today's action and will take the arena tomorrow in the reining phase of the competition.
Results will be combined from both phases for final placement and will be announced at the conclusion of all competition.
Tyson will resume the competition at 8:30 a.m. with phase A of reining Sunday morning.
