CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's cross country team placed all five scoring runners in the top seven positions of Saturday afternoon's Bruce Bridgeman Invitational hosted by Finger Lakes Community College, with junior
Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) leading the field with his first place finish to claim the individual title.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Junior Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) led the race field Saturday afternoon at the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational hosted by Finger Lakes Community College, earning the individual title as he crossed the finish line in 28:45 to lead SUNY Morrisville to the team title.
- Harris outgained Nikko Recchio (Waterville, N.Y.) who recorded a career best finish at the invitational, finishing second overall while he put together a 5:51 pace across the 8K event to cross with a final time of 29:01.3.
- Freshman Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) added a third-place finish for the Mustangs with a time of 29:22.3, before fellow first year Zephrym Grover (Amherst, N.Y.) crossed in sixth overall, a time of 30:28.2.
- Brenden Bove (East Aurora, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with his seventh-place finish and time of 31:27.7.
- Ethan Cossette (Oneida, N.Y.) placed in the top 10 overall for the Mustangs, while a slew of runners were scattered throughout the field.

- Morrisville will have a bye week next weekend before heading to the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan on Sept. 28.
