GENEVA, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's cross country team placed three runners in the top 10 overall at the Cross Country Only Championships (CCOC's) hosted by Hobart University Saturday afternoon in Geneva.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• SUNY Morrisville men's cross country placed three runners in the top 10 overall Saturday afternoon at the Cross Country Only Championships hosted by Hobart University in Geneva.
• Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) led the Mustangs with a seventh place finish overall with a time of 27:09.6, edging teammate Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) who finished eighth with a time of 27:23.9 in the field of 78 racers.
• Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) was 10^th overall with his time of 27:44.6.
• Ethan Cossette (Oneida, N.Y.) turned in a time of 28:32.5 to finish 20^th overall, edging teammate Ryan Wiese (Haddam, Conn.) who crossed in 28:41.6.
• Zephrym Grover (Amherst, N.Y.) turned in a time of 28:43.2 to finish 24^th before a trio of Mustangs crossed the finish line in 31^st, 32^nd, and 33^rd overall slots.
• Elijah Evelyn (East Syracuse, N.Y.) was 31^st overall with a time of 29:11.1, crossing before Nate Dziedzic (Chittenango, N.Y.) who turned in a time of 29:17.3 to finish 32^nd.
• Brenden Bove (East Aurora, N.Y.) was 33^rd with a time of 29:22.4.
• Fernando Burgos (Washingtonville, N.Y.) placed 37^th overall with a time of 30:22.8.
• Hunter Matteson (Morrisville, N.Y.), Gavin Griffin (Sodus, N.Y.) and Kieran Carter (Oswego, N.Y.) went 45-46-47, while teammates Siyel Bowman (Bronx, N.Y.), Zachary Miller (Lakeview, N.Y.) and Brenden Genei (Sherrill, N.Y.) finished 60^th, 63^rd and 71^st overall.
