PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's cross country team placed sixth overall in team standings Saturday morning at the SUNYAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Plattsburgh.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville men's cross country team placed sixth overall Saturday morning at the SUNYAC Championships hosted by Plattsburgh, with sophomore Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) leading the Mustangs with his top 10 finish.
• Ventricelli posted an eighth place individual finish, completing the 8K race with a time of 26:47.4, a 5:24 per mile pace in the field of 108 total runners.
• Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) finished in 28:03.8 for the Mustangs, crossing in 28^th overall to score second, while Ethan Cossette (Oneida, N.Y.) turned in a time of 28;28.0 to finish 40^th overall.
• Zephrym Grover (Amherst, N.Y.) was 41^st with a time of 28:37.0 while Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with his 46^th overall finish with a time of 29:03.4.
