MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) office announced its major award winners in the sport of men's lacrosse Wednesday, naming SUNY Morrisville freshman,
Kyan Dohn (East Brunswick, N.J.) the 2024 Rookie of the Year as voted by league coaches.
Dohn started 13 of 15 games for the Mustangs at attack during the regular season and powered his way through to a 37-point freshman season behind 23 goals and 14 assists.
One of his tallies was a game winner, while two were scored on extra man opportunities. Along with his offensive totals he added 15 ground balls.
A NAC Rookie of the Week honoree, Dohn posted a single game high five goals and three assists against Husson, where totaled eight points. His efforts across the season assisted the Mustangs to a 7-1 league record, and 8-8 overall slate.
