MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Head football coach Ed Raby announced the addition of
Chris Maxwell to the SUNY Morrisville staff for the upcoming season, as assistant coach of the linebacker unit while also serving as the program's video coordinator.
"Chris came highly recommended to this position," said Raby. "His experience coaching on the offensive side of the ball will greatly enhance our linebackers football IQ and ability."
Maxwell comes to Morrisville from Waynesburg University where he served two seasons on staff overseeing the wide receivers. During his time with the Yellow Jackets, he oversaw recruiting in West Virginia, New York and Michigan and assisted in player development.
Prior to his time at Waynesburg, Maxwell spent a year on the sidelines at Slippery Rock University, a Division II member, where he earned his degree in education: physical activity and fitness management. Maxwell worked primarily with linebackers and special teams during his time with the Rock.
Maxwell earned his master of science degree in coaching and sport education from West Virginia University.
