MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Empire 8 Conference announced its 2025 All-Conference Teams Thursday, naming five from SUNY Morrisville to their second and third teams, respectively.
 
Isaac Sylvain (Schenectady, N.Y.) repeats all-league honors for a second straight season, earning second team accolades at running back. The junior carried the ball 202 tines for a net gain 999-yards and eight touchdown scores, averaging 99.90 yards per game. Additionally, he caught 17 passes for another 82 yards on the season.
 
Joining Sylvain with a second team nod is senior Eric Sparkman (Syracuse, N.Y.) who appeared in all 10 games for the Mustangs at safety. Sparkman finished the season with 87 total tackles, 52 solo, while recording three pass breakups, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.
 
Darrin Sloan (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) earned his third straight All-Conference honor on the offensive line on the third team alongside teammate Xavier Gaines (Pomona, N.Y.) who received the nod at wide receiver.
 
Gaines led the Mustang corps with 402 yards receiving, an average 13.86 yards per catch on 29 receptions. Four times on the season he scored a touchdown, including a long 74-yards.
 
Dillon English (Webster, N.Y.) earned third team honors on the defensive side of the ball at linebacker for Morrisville, wrapping up his final season with a 100-total tackle season that saw 50 solo stops. The senior collected five tackles for a loss of 11 yards, added three pass knockdowns, intercepted one, registered two quarterback hurries and forced two fumbles.
