MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - SUNY Morrisville head track and field coach, Derek Powers, announced the addition of Morrisville native Greg Smalley, as an assistant coach for the upcoming track and field season.

Smalley joined the track and field coaching staff as a volunteer in the spring 2026 season, before being promoted to assistant coach in the fall 2026.

Smalley comes to Morrisville from a two-year volunteer stint with Colgate University where he assisted with sprints and jumps. Also involved with Morrisville-Eaton Central School. Smalley has coached indoor and outdoor track and field since 2011.

Active in Master's Track and Field for the past two decades, Smalley ranked first in the world in the long jump and triple jump in the M60 age group following the 2026 season. He is currently ranked 10^th on the M60 all-time list and 16^th all-time in the triple jump.
