Battle named Assistant Athletic Trainer for Mustangs

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville athletics announced the addition of Elizabeth Battle as an assistant athletic trainer for the upcoming 2026-27 seasons.

Battle comes to Morrisville after clinical experiences at the Division III and high school levels, most recently with nearby Hamilton College where she worked with the men's and women's lacrosse programs. While on the sidelines at SUNY Brockport, Battle gained experiences with a variety of varsity teams, including football, baseball, women's soccer, volleyball, wrestling, gymnastics, softball and track and field.

A graduate of Utica College with her Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences and minor in healthcare advocacy and navigation, Battle went on to earn her Master of Science degree in athletic training from Brockport in May.

She obtained her athletic training certification in May and will be working with the football program this fall.

SUNY Morrisville's curricula are enriched with applied learning and pave the way for opportunity at the Morrisville and Norwich campuses. The college is positioning itself to offer expanded graduate offerings, workforce programming and microcredentials. Future development of industry and educational partnerships will increase student success and response to student demand and market.
