ROCHESTER, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville sophomore Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) led the Mustangs at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational Saturday, as the team finished 18^th out of 26 teams in Rochester.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Sophomore Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) led the Morrisville men's cross country team to an 18^th overall finish as he crossed in 78^th scoring position among the field of 312 participants Saturday morning at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational at Genesee Valley Park.
• Ventricelli registered a time of 27:39.6, edging Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) who crossed eight seconds later to score second for Morrisville.
• Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) was third to finish for the Mustangs, five seconds behind Harris, before Ryan Wiese (Haddam, Conn.) posed a time of 28:57.1 to score fourth for Morrisville.
• Ethan Cossett (Oneida, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring for Morrisville with his time of 29:38.3, a 136^th scoring finish.
• Geneseo claimed the overall invitational team title, placing two runners in the top five.
