SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's cross country team had their first taste of competition in 2025 Saturday, placing second overall at the LeMoyne College Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational held in Syracuse.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville men's cross country team took to the courses for the first time in 2025, placing second at the LeMoyne College Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational held in Syracuse.
• Morrisville placed three runners in the top 10 en route to their team finish, including a top team finish by Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) who placed sixth with a time of 21:25.0 in the 6K race.
• Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) was seconds behind with a time of 21:36.2 to place seventh, while Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) had a top 10 performance with his time of 21:54.5 to place 10th in the field of 73.
• Ryan Wiese (Haddam, Conn.) scored fourth with his 17^th overall finish, crossing in 22:12.2, before Ethan Cossette (Oneida, N.Y.) rounded out the Mustangs team scoring with his time of 22:45.0, placing 26^th overall.
• Logan Fitzgerald (Mexico, N.Y.) and Zephrym Grover (Amherst, N.Y.) were right behind Cossette, placing 27^th and 28^th overall with times of 22:46 and 22:47.
