OSWEGO, N.Y. – Junior Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) led the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs Saturday afternoon to an eighth-place finish at the SUNYAC Championships, held at Fallbrook in Oswego.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Junior Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) finished 11^th overall among the field of 96 runners Saturday afternoon at the SUNYAC Championships, hosted by Oswego State at Fallbrook, leading the team to an eighth place finish among 10 league competitors.
• Harris crossed the line in 27:33.2, just over a minute ahead of Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) who contributed to the team scoring, finishing 29^th with his time of 28:35.2.
• Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) crossed third for the Mustangs, recording a time of 28:54.2, while Nikko Recchio (Waterville, N.Y.) was edged down the stretch, finishing in 28:54.4, both scoring in 36^th and 37^th, respectively.
• Ethan Cossett (Oneida, N.Y.) posted a top five finish for the Mustangs team scoring, registering a 45^th scoring finish with a time of 29:35.6.
