GENESEO, N.Y. – Junior Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) led visiting SUNY Morrisville men's cross country at the Mike Woods Invitational Saturday, hosted by Geneseo, finishing with a time of 26:25.1 in the 8K race.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Junior Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) was the second SUNYAC competitor to cross the finish line Saturday at the Mike Woods Invitational hosted by SUNY Geneseo in Geneseo, scoring 94^th overall among the field of 510 competitors.
• Harris, who posted a personal best time of 26:25.1 in the 8K race, rose to third all-time in Mustang history, leading the team to a 23^rd overall finish among 34 competing teams.
• Nikko Recchio (Waterville, N.Y.) was second to score for Morrisville, crossing in 27:21.2 with a scoring finish of 137^th, edging Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.), who crossed a mere six seconds later in 139^th scoring place.
• Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) contributed to the Mustangs scoring, finishing fourth for the team with his time of 28:14.6, a 168^th overall scoring place finish.
• Zephrym Grover (Amherst, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with his time of 28:36.0, scoring 179^th overall.
