MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville Director of Athletics, Matt Grawrock, has announced the reinstatement of softball for the 2023-24 season for the Mustangs.
 
After considerable reevaluation following a program pause in the fall, Grawrock is pleased to see the program return for the fall, as it continues to work towards a successful future.
 
"We are thrilled to be able to reinstate the softball program for the next athletic year," Grawrock said. "While it was a difficult decision to place the program on pause in the fall, we took the time as a department and college administration to reassess and properly position the program for success moving forward."
 
"I'm confident that we will be able to offer a quality collegiate experience for our softball student-athletes, and be able to contribute to the opportunities presented at SUNY Morrisville through not only the quality educational programs, but the holistic approach to personal engagement and growth through participation in intercollegiate athletics."
 
SUNY Morrisville begins membership within the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) in the fall of 2023, and will be a member of the West Division, competing against familiar opponents SUNY Poly, SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Delhi, and SUNY Canton.
 
Morrisville anticipates the announcement of a head coach in the near future.
