Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Five notched double figures as the visiting Morrisville State College men's basketball team rolled to a 81-61 victory over host Bryn Athyn College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action Saturday afternoon on the road in Bryn Athyn.
The win lifts Morrisville State to 16-7 overall, 12-3 in NEAC play. The Lions drop to 5-17, 5-10 in conference play.
Ibrahima Toure (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led all scorers with 21 points, adding 12 rebounds for the double-double while posting three steals. Jordan Hoose (Hudson, N.Y.) also registered a double-double, netting 14 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Qwuhail Barlow (Cortland, N.Y.) and Trent Ward (Auburn, N.Y.) each posted 13 points in the win, with teammate Joe Hulbert (Duanesburg, N.Y.) wrapping up the Mustang leaderboard with 11 points, assisting four.
Adonis Rosario posted 17 points to lead the Bryn Athyn efforts, while Deion Boyer and Devante Laws each added 12.
Morrisville State shot 50.8% from the floor on the day, hitting 31-of-61 shots, including a 11-for-24 performance from long range.
The Mustangs dominated the glass, out rebounding the hosts 45-24, as they collected nine boards on the offensive glass.
Morrisville State held the 39-26 lead at the break, before the Lions pulled within five just four minutes into the second half. The Mustangs then went on a 11-2 run to regain the double digit lead, not looking back as they collected the dominating conference win.
The Mustangs return to the court Sunday at noon at Penn State Abington for the second of the weekend's NEAC play.
