MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Two members of the Morrisville men's basketball team have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA, and either compete in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start in at least 66 percent of contests.
Senior
Jacob Works (Liverpool, N.Y.), was a key contributor for the Mustangs this season. The guard averaged 10.7 points per game on 47.6% shooting from the field and played a pivotal role in leading Morrisville to its second straight playoff appearance.
Joining him is sophomore
Kaelem Haskins (Liverpool, N.Y.), who also made significant contributions throughout the season. The guard posted averages of nine points per game on 53.3% shooting from the field, while adding 3.2 assists per contest.
"Hard workers on the court and work just as hard off the court. Their success is no surprise," said head coach Bryan Wickliffe. "Glad they're apart of the Mustang basketball family."
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions, NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, with Academic All-District selections advancing to the national ballot.
