Patrick Colligan

Colligan enters his first year as a member of the Mustangs football coaching staff as the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach, also serving as the film coordinator.

Colligan comes to Morrisville State from Kings College where he spent a season with the Monarchs as the outside linebackers coach. Prior to the 2016 season with Kings, he served as the defensive line coach at Carnegie Melon University in Pittsburgh for the 2015 season. During his time with the Tartans, he coached the USAA Defensive Most Valuable Player, two first team UAA selections and two PAC All-Conference selections.

Prior to his time at Carnegie Mellon, Colligan spent two seasons as the defensive line coach and recruiting/video coordinator at Millikin University in Illinois.

In addition, Colligan also served as an assistant coach at Westminster College from 2009-12, taking on roles as the assistant offensive line coach, tight ends coach, and defensive backs coach across the three year span.

Active in camps and clinics nationwide, Colligan earned his bachelors of science degree in sports management from California University (Pa.) in 2007 before pursuing a master's degree in education from Westminster in 2012.
