MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team closed Friday's tournament action on their home court with a three-set sweep of visiting Alfred University, capturing set wins of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-15.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball closed out Friday's Mustang tournament action with match win over Alfred University, sweeping all three-sets to go 2-0 on the day.
• Morrisville, who improves to 3-0 overall, had a big hitting night from leading attacker Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) who registered 16 kills and a .321 hitting effort.
• Eskierka also had six digs, adding three assists, while teammate Alexa Warner (Draper, Utah) threw down eight kills to contribute to the team scoring.
• Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.) had five kills to go along with two assists.
• Keely Shearer (Haslet, Texas) had a team high 16 assists, serving four aces.
• Morrisville had a great serving game from libero Kylie Hutchinson (Liberty Hill, Texas), who registered six aces, adding nine digs defensively.
• Alfred's Carleigh Santavy led the Saxon efforts with seven kills, while Madalynn McGowan posted eight defensive digs.

• Morrisville will compete in a second day of tournament action Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. as they take on Alfred State, before wrapping up play with a 2 p.m. scheduled bout with St. Francis University.
