MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team picked up a 3-1 match win Friday afternoon over visiting SUNY Poly, withstanding a third set rally to capture the non-league victory on their home court in the opening match of the Mustangs Tournament.

• Host SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball opened tournament action Friday afternoon with a 3-1 match win over visiting SUNY Poly, withstanding a third set rally by the Wildcats.
• Morrisville posted set wins of 25-16 and 25-21 in the first two frames, before Poly rallied to claim a slim 25-23 set margin in the third.
• The Mustangs put the game away in the fourth set, though, downing the Wildcats with the 25-14 win to take the match 3-1.
• Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) led all attackers with 17 kills, adding five aces and 13 digs in the all around effort.
• Samantha Siedlecki (Thornton, Colo.) added 10 kills, registering an ace, while teammate Kylie Hutchinson (Liberty Hill, Texas) collected 18 digs, also serving up three aces.
• Cassandra Bellmore (Windsor, N.Y.) had 23 assists in the match, with Keely Shearer (Haslet, Texas) adding 10.
• SUNY Poly had two record seven kills in the offensive attempts, including Kara Stephens and Camryn Clark, Stephens also posting eight digs.
