MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Host SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball picked up a 3-0 season opening win Tuesday night over visiting Utica University, collecting the match victory with s set sweep in Morrisville.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball out hit visiting Utica University Tuesday night by 20 kills, posting the match win with set victories of 25-22, 25-20 and 25-20 in the season opener in Morrisville.
• Junior Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) led Morrisville's offensive efforts, registering 17 of the team's 42 total kills, hitting .333 from the floor, while adding 13 digs on the defensive side of the ball.
• Middle Samantha Siedlecki (Thornton, Colo.) posted nine with her .412 hitting effort, blocking three at the net, while serving up two aces to contribute to the team scoring.
• Keely Shearer (Haslet, Texas) registered 16 assists to go along with seven digs, while teammate Cassandra Bellmore (Windsor, N.Y.) added another 14 assists, also posting four kills on the night.
• Kylie Hutchinson (Liberty Hill, Texas) had 12 digs.
• Megan Wright led Utica's efforts with eight kills, posting a team high 15 digs, while Trinity Bailey added six kills.
