Morrisville drops opener as Wolves net three in second

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's soccer team opened the 2026 season campaign Tuesday night, falling 4-0 to visiting Keuka College as the Wolves notched three second half scores en route to the win on Drake Field.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
  • The SUNY Morrisville women's soccer team dropped the season opening contest on their home field Tuesday night in Morrisville, falling 4-0 to visiting Keuka College.
  • Keuka took a 1-0 lead on a well-placed corner kick that was headed under the cross bar for the score.
  • The Wolves maintained their one-goal edge until the 61st minute, when a one touch at the top of the box extended the lead to two, adding another minutes later for the 3-0 advantage on the one-timer.
  • Keuka wrapped up all scoring in the 72nd minute with a one-touch at the top of the box.
  • Ainslie Romasco (Corapolis, Pa.) recorded the loss in net, despite turning aside seven in her collegiate debut.
