MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville Director of Athletics, Matt Grawrock, announced the appointment of Brittany Cohen as head women's basketball coach entering the 2026-27 season.

"I'm incredibly excited for this hire," Director of Athletics, Matt Grawrock said.

"Brittany comes with a great amount of experience and success in the SUNYAC. She has helped build Potsdam's program, and I am convinced that she will be able to do the same with our program.

"Her connections in the Central N.Y. area will be such a benefit as we look to step up in the conference. She has a passion for this sport and the student-athletes she gets to work with, and I know that attitude will help those associated with the program become champions on and off the court.

"Her passion is what we need to move forward, and I'm confident that she'll help our student-athletes, and the program, become the best we can possibly be. I believe we have a very bright future with Brittany leading the way."

The Fayetteville, N.Y. native, comes to Morrisville from SUNY Potsdam where she served as head coach of the Bears program for the past nine seasons.
