MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville athletics department has announced its weekly award winners, naming four from across the week's action as their Mustangs of the Week.
 
Bryn Zionkowski (Wyalusing, Pa.) claimed the western reserve regional championship title in the high point rider competition Saturday, while earning the reserve regional championship title in the reining class. With her place finishes, she advances to the IHSA National Semifinals held later in March with a chance to compete for a slot in the championship field at the IHSA National Finals.
 
Marissa Bartholomew (Martville, N.Y.) was the 2026 Regional Champion for the western team in the open horsemanship class, also advancing to the national semifinals with a chance to compete for a slot at the IHSA National Championships.
 
Stevieanna Seneca (Irving, N.Y.) ran the third leg of the distance medley relay for the Mustangs at the SUNYAC Indoor Track Championships to assist the Mustangs to a fourth overall finish in the relay. Seneca's efforts assisted Morrisville to a record setting time in the relay on day one of championship action.
 
In the second day of the SUNYAC Championships, Seneca made her debut in the long jump and placed seventh overall in the field with a distance of 5.18 meters, setting a new record mark in the record books for the Mustangs.
 
Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) anchored the men's indoor track DMR relay team with the mile run, posting a time of 4:30 to lead the Mustangs to a fourth-place finish at the SUNYAC Championship event. The relay team combined for a time of 10:49, setting a new indoor record mark for the Mustangs.
 
Ventricelli followed with a ninth-place finish in a tightly contested field in the men's championship 800-meter run, setting a new record mark of 2:01.1.
