MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville athletics department announced its weekly award winners, naming
Mary Trowbridge (Brookhaven, N.Y.) and
Blake Dunton (Middlesex, N.Y.) the Mustangs of the Week for action ending March 15.
Trowbridge collected 10 points in two wins for the Mustangs women's lacrosse team on the week, netting nine goals and posting an assist. She began the week with two goals and an assist in the 15-5 win over Keuka, adding two ground balls to her totals on the afternoon.
Trowbridge followed with a career-high seven goals in the dominating win over Old Westbury, collecting two draws while picking up nine ground balls and causing two turnovers.
Dunton posted a season-high 23 saves in the efforts against Penn College Saturday, while also collecting four ground balls. Seven of his saves came in the final quarter as the Wildcats posted 14 shots on goal in the frame.
