CANTON, N.Y. – Freshman Mason Losel (Lake View, N.Y.) netted his fourth score of the season Saturday afternoon for visiting SUNY Morrisville men's hockey, preventing the shut out as Canton notched the 6-1 SUNYAC win in Canton.

• Host SUNY Canton men's hockey picked up the series sweep over visiting SUNY Morrisville Saturday afternoon, netting the 6-1 SUNYAC win on the Roos home ice in Canton.
• Canton led 5-0 before Morrisville's Mason Losel (Lake View, N.Y.) put the lone Mustang tally on the board, a strike that came at the 7:24 mark of the third off the assist from Zach Nicholls (Chestermere, Alta.).
• Brayden Fryfogle led the Roos offensively with three goals, netting two unassisted, while Spencer Sasenbury added a goal and two assists for the three point outing.
• Morrisville's Chad Lowe (Auburn, N.Y.) recorded the loss between the pipes for the Mustangs, recording 19 saves across nearly 58 minutes of play.
• Canton's Trey Miller picked up with the win with his 20 save performance in 47 minutes in net, before Nate Hopkins finished out the contest with six stops.
• Canton notched their first tally just 1:04 into the contest, before netting two late in the second for the 3-0 lead after two periods of play.
• A short-handed score 29 ticks into the third put the hosts up 4-0, adding a fifth less than a minute later before sealing the win with their sixth of the afternoon at 12:48.
