• Visiting SUNY Canton scored three times in the third period of Saturday afternoon's SUNYAC bout with host Morrisville, netting the 4-1 league win over the Mustangs in Morrisville.
• Playing to a scoreless 27 minutes of action, Canton was first to put one on the board, a power play score at the 7:07 mark of the second, taking the 1-0 lead.
• The visitors extended their advantage to two 34 seconds into the third and nearly 10 minutes later added a second power play score for the 3-0 lead.
• Morrisville's Scarlett Smith (Etobicoke, Ont.) rifled one down the center of the zone past a screened Roo netminder on the power play, putting the Mustangs on the board at the 16:43 mark.
