Fall 2025 Athletic Director Honor Roll selections announced

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville Athletics Department has announced its academic success for the fall 2025 semester, naming 155 student-athletes to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the academic term.
 
Across the department that includes 17 intercollegiate teams, Mustang student-athletes posted a 3.045 collective grade point average, reaching an all-time department high mark in a single academic term.
 
In all, 105 student-athletes achieved a 3.5 or better semester average, with another 24 registering a perfect 4.0 across the term.
 
"I'm incredibly proud of the accomplishments of our student-athletes this last academic term," Director of Athletics Matt Grawrock said.
 
"Our student-athletes value the importance of the opportunities provided at SUNY Morrisville and have proven that despite adversity they can persevere with one of the most successful academic performances yet.
 
"I have always believed that we have great students who can be tremendous teammates, athletes and professionals who will make a significant impact within our campus, local and surrounding communities.
 
"I'm grateful for their commitment to their success at Morrisville and look forward to our student-athletes continuing to pave the way in several different areas on and off our athletic playing fields."
 
Eight of the Mustangs teams recorded a 3.0 or better team grade point average for the spring term, led by western equestrian with an overall team GPA of 3.518.
 
Men's ice hockey followed with a 3.49 semester mark, and softball a team 3.37 GPA, to round out the top three academic teams.
 
Women's hockey reached a 3.32 team GPA and was followed closely by women's soccer and women's basketball with 3.26 and 3.24 team marks.
 
Women's cross country alongside women's track and field closed out the teams with a +3.0 mark, with their 3.08 and 3.003 GPA's, respectively.
 
To be named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have achieved a 3.30 grade point average or better (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the academic term.
