MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville athletics department has announced its weekly award winners, naming women's ice hockey duo Zoe Leas (North Vancouver, B.C.) and Scarlett Smith (Etobicoke, Ont.) the Mustangs of the Week for action ending January 11.
 
Leas led Morrisville to a 3-1 win over St. John Fisher Saturday, being involved with each scoring play for the Mustangs. Leas posted assists on the first two scores, including the game winner in the third, before netting an empty net score in the closing minute of the final period to seal the win.
 
The senior finished with a +2 rating in the game.
 
Smith posted two tallies over the weekend in the 3-1 win over St. John Fisher on Friday, including the tying score in the first period and following with a power play score midway through the second to seal the two-goal margin.
