ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's track and field team competed for a final regular season time Saturday at St. John Fisher University, participating in the Cardinal Classic as a tune-up before SUNYAC Championships next weekend.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville men's track and field team competed at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by St. John Fisher College, Saturday, getting one last tune-up opportunity before the SUNYAC Championships next weekend.
• Morrisville had three compete in the 100-meter race, including Thando Shezi (Johannesburg, South Africa), who finished 35^th overall with a time of 11.53 seconds.
• Thomas Eison (St. Albans, N.Y.) registered a time of 12.05 seconds, and Kareem Sanders (Schenectady, N.Y.) a time of 12.18 seconds, finishing 63^rd and 68^th overall in the field of 87.
• Siyel Bowman (Bronx, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the men in the 200-meter race, registering a time of 23.82 seconds, to finish 39^th overall, while Kaleel Tobias (Rosedale, N.Y.) crossed in 24.54 to earn the 48^th overall place finish in the field of 66.
• Bowman also competed in the 400-meter race, finishing 26^th overall with a time of 51.85.
• Tobias also took to the field in the 400, finishing with a time of 55.84, 48^th overall in the field of 67.
• In the men's 800, Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) posted a time of 2:03.29, a 43^rd overall place finish, while Avion Harris (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) was the next Mustang to cross with a time of 2:06.81, a 62^nd individual finish.
• Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) wrapped up the competition field in the 800 with a time of 2:09.49, a 74^th overall finish in a field that saw 104 total competitors.
• Ventricelli, Harris and King took on the massive field in the men's 1500, with Ventricelli posting a time of 4:08.64 to earn the 23^rd overall slot, before Harris crossed in 4:20.36, earning 61^st overall.
• King crossed in 4:38.25, earning the 82^nd overall spot among 105 total runners.
• Ethan Cossett (Oneida, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Mustangs in the 5000-meter run, finishing in 33^rd overall place with a time of 17:12.93.
• Brenden Bove (East Aurora, N.Y.) also competed, finishing 39^th overall with a time of 17:57.87.
• Kieran Carter (Oswego, N.Y.) was the lone Mustang to compete in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 1:01.22 to finish mid-pack, a 19^th overall place finish among 37 competitors.
• Morrisville's 4x100 relay of Shezi, Eison, Bowman and Jose Gilbert (Westbury, N.Y.) finished 12^th overall with a time of 44.47 seconds.
