• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's lacrosse fell in SUNYAC action Wednesday afternoon to host Buffalo State, 23-2, despite a 20 save effort by goalkeeper Aniyah Smith (Grovetown, Ga.).
• Smith turned aside 11 in the opening half of action and added nine more stops in the second as the hosts out gained the Mustangs 37-2 in shots on goal.
• Morrisville scored twice in the contest to prevent the shut out, both tallies coming in the fourth quarter of play off the stick of Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.).
• Ingersoll also collected six draw controls to go along with four ground balls, netting one of her tallies on the free position.
• Samantha Budney (Pine Bush, N.Y.), Keeley Riley (Dexter, N.Y.) and Grace Loadwick (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) each picked up three ground balls in the efforts, with a caused turnover from Loadwick added to the team totals.
