MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Visiting Plattsburgh State scored three unanswered tallies in the second period of Friday night's SUNYAC action in Morrisville, downing the host SUNY Morrisville Mustangs by a 5-1 final score.

• Visiting Plattsburgh State scored three unanswered tallies in the third period Friday night, as they downed host SUNY Morrisville men's ice hockey by a 5-1 final score in SUNYAC play in Morrisville.
• The Cardinals netted the lone tally of the first period to claim the 1-0 advantage after one, before adding to their lead at the 12:22 mark of the second.
• A third Plattsburgh score came at the 17:43 mark on the power play, before the Cardinals opened the gap to four with an even tally a mere 17 seconds later.
• After scoring a second power play score at the 15:50 mark of the third, Morrisville was finally able to put one on the board at 18:01.
• Victor Fortier (Sherbrook, Que.) recorded his first collegiate tally off the assists form Ethan Henry (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Jensen Dodge (West Lebanon, N.H.).
