CORTLAND, N.Y. – Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's basketball led by eight midway through the second half, but were unable to fend off the host SUNY Cortland Red Dragons as they fell 65-54 in SUNYAC action in Cortland.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's basketball led by one at the half and extended the lead to eight midway through the second, but were unable to fend off the persistent host Cortland Red Dragons as they dropped the 65-54 SUNYAC decision on the road in Cortland.
• Avion Grainger (Syracuse, N.Y.) led the Mustang efforts with 14 points, also recording three assists while snagging three rebounds.
• Kareem Sanders (Schenectady, N.Y.) added 11 points and a team best seven rebounds, with CJ McCullum (Bronx, N.Y.) rounded out the Mustang leaderboard with 10 points and two steals.
• Cortland got 18 points from team later Aaron Coston, who also added five assists and five rebounds.
• Joel Davis contributed 11 alongside teammate Isaiah Austin, with Davis snagging seven off the glass.
• After leading by one at the break, Morrisville increased their lead to eight midway through the second half, and held onto the lead until the 3:43 mark when a three from Kendrick Wilson sparked a 13-0 Cortland run over the ensuing three minutes to put the game away for the hosts.
