FREDONIA, N.Y. – Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's basketball outgained host Fredonia State in the second half of Tuesday night's SUNYAC action in Fredonia, collecting the series sweep of the Blue Devils with a 74-71 road win.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's basketball outgained host Fredonia 5-3 in the final minute of Tuesday night's action on the road in Fredonia, claiming the 74-71 victory as they completed the series sweep of the Blue Devils to improve to 7-7 overall in SUNYAC play.
• After cutting the deficit from a 10-popint Mustang lead, Fredonia nailed a three-pointer to make it a two-point ball game with 1:36 showing on the clock, but CJ McCullum (Bronx, N.Y.) responded to regain the multi-possession lead for the visitors with 1:12 to go.
• Fredonia sent Yvan Fils-Aime (Dix Hills, N.Y.) to the line for two, and the senior converted both, extending the Mustang advantage to six, before two of their own saw the gap shrink to four on the ensuing possession as they nailed both from the charity stripe with 23 ticks showing.
• A quick layup from the hosts with three seconds to go made it a two-point game, but Fils-Aime hit the front end of two to force Fredonia into a last second shot effort.
• The three-point attempt from Fredonia at the buzzer was no good, and the Mustangs collected the road win.
• Kareem Sanders (Schenectady, N.Y.) led the Mustangs in scoring with 16 points, collecting eight rebounds, while McCullum added 10 to go along with five assists.
• Avion Grainger (Syracuse, N.Y.) added 15 points on a 7-for-11 effort from the floor, with another 15 coming off the hand of Jayln Moorehead (Rochester, N.Y.).
• Both added three rebounds.
• Fils-Aime finished with eight points on a 6-for-8 performance from the free throw line, collecting six boards.
• Morrisville forced 18 Blue Devil miscues, capitalizing with 24 points off turnovers over the hosts, including 13 points in the second half.
