MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's hockey team couldn't get the puck to bounce their way Saturday afternoon as they dropped a 6-0 SUNYAC decision to visiting Potsdam State on the Mustangs home ice in Morrisville.

• Host SUNY Morrisville men's hockey struggled in Saturday afternoon's league battle against visiting Potsdam State with the Bears picking up the 6-0 shut out victory on the Mustangs home ice in Morrisville.
• Potsdam led 3-0 after the opening period, netting two within the first seven minutes of action, before netting a third at the 13:40 mark.
• Following two second period scores to open the gap to 5-0, the Bears collected a final tally late in the third to earn the conference points.
• Ryan Mahlmeister led Potsdam with two goals and an assist, with Garrett McCabe collecting a goal and assisting another.
• Luciano Chinappi collected 28 saves in the win in net for Potsdam.
• Morrisville's Will Goumas (Brampton, Ont.) recorded 14 saves in the loss in net for the hosts, before being relieved by Grant Linville (Edmond, Okla.) for the final 40.
• Linville had 31 stops in the effort between the pipes.
