UTICA, N.Y. – Eighth ranked Hamilton College men's hockey scored three times in the second period to take a commanding lead over opponent SUNY Morrisville Friday afternoon in the opening round of the Utica University Thanksgiving Tournament, handing the Mustangs the 6-0 loss at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's ice hockey dropped a 6-0 decision to no. 8 ranked Hamilton College Friday afternoon at the Utica University Thanksgiving Tourney at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica.
• The Continentals took a 2-0 lead after the first, putting the first of the day on the board 7:48 in before extending the lead to a 2-0 with another at 13:29.
• Hamilton scored three unanswered tallies in the third, twice within seven seconds time, to open the lead to 5-0 after two periods of action, before wrapping up all scoring with a final strike at 6:21 in the third to capture the win.
• Hamilton limited Morrisville to just 19 shots across three periods of play, while racking up 51 of their own throughout the contest.
• Chad Lowe (Auburn, N.Y.) posted the loss in net, turning aside 24 total in 25 minutes between the pipes, including 18 in the first period of play.
• Will Goumas (Brampton, Ont.) finished out the final 35 in net for Morrisville, registering 24 stops, including 15 in the third period.
