MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's ice hockey team allowed five second period goals as #6 USCHO ranked Plattsburgh State collected the 5-0 SUNYAC win Friday night on the Mustangs home ice in Morrisville.

• Host SUNY Morrisville women's hockey held visiting no 6 ranked Plattsburgh State scoreless across the opening period, but faltered in the second as the visiting Cardinals scored five times en route to the SUNYAC win in Morrisville.
• Plattsburgh notched their first tally of the night 1:20 into the second, before adding a second score five minutes later.
• The Cardinals made it a three goal game forty seconds after, putting a fourth tally on the board at 13:59.
• They wrapped up all scoring with a power play goal in the closing minute of the second period.
