OSWEGO, N.Y. – Host SUNY Oswego scored three goals in the first and third periods of Saturday afternoon's SUNYAC action against visiting SUNY Morrisville, netting the 6-1 league win in Oswego.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Oswego led 3-1 after the first period before netting three unanswered goals in the third to claim a 6-1 SUNYAC win over visiting SUNY Morrisville Saturday afternoon in Oswego.
• The Lakers took the early 1-0 lead three minutes in, before Avery Holland (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) pulled the Mustangs even at one with her unassisted tally at the 6:36 mark.
• Oswego posted back-to-back tallies within two minutes time to claim the 3-1 lead after the first.
• Following a scoreless second period, the Lakers expanded the lead to three with a score just 1:34 into the final period, and added a second of the frame nearly eight in.
• Oswego put the game out of reach with a third unanswered score of the period at 12:57 to claim the 6-1 win.
• The Lakers limited Morrisville to just 14 shots on net while racking up 50 of their own, as freshman Gabi Brazeau (Timmins, Ont.) turned aside 44 in her efforts in net in the loss.
• Brazeau posted a single period high 21 stops in the first for the Mustangs.
