PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's cross country team finished eighth overall out of 12 competing teams Saturday afternoon at the SUNYAC Championships hosted by Plattsburgh State in Plattsburgh, as Elizabeth Lucason (Camden, N.Y.) led the Mustang pack with her top 10 finish.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's cross country team competed at the SUNYAC Championships Saturday afternoon hosted by Plattsburgh State in Plattsburgh, placing eighth overall in team standings.
• Senior Elizabeth Lucason (Camden, N.Y.) led Morrisville with a top 10 finish, placing seventh overall in the field of 92, with a time of 22:37.8 in the 6K race.
• Mikaela Phu (Clyde, N.Y.) turned in a 35^th overall finish, crossing in 25:34.5, while Laura Powers (Chittenango, N.Y.) was 51^st with a time of 27:37.3.
• Sapphire Allen (New Berlin, N.Y.) scored fourth for the Mustangs with her time of 28:13.1, placing 58^th overall, while Alexa Evans (Pulaski, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with a 63^rd overall finish with a time of 31:07.4.
