NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville field hockey team wrapped up the road schedule Friday afternoon, dropping a 9-0 SUNYAC decision to host New Paltz in league action.

• Host SUNY New Paltz field hockey remained undefeated Friday afternoon in league action, handing visiting SUNY Morrisville the 9-0 loss as the Mustangs wrapped up their road schedule in New Paltz.
• The Hawks recorded their first of the afternoon 6:36 in, before adding a penalty stroke goal with 1:40 remaining in the opening quarter to take a 2-0 lead after the first.
• New Paltz opened the lead to 4-0 at the halftime break, limiting Morrisville to just one shot on goal in the first half.
• The hosts added three more tallies in the third for a commanding 7-0 lead, wrapping up the league contest with two additional tallies early in the fourth.
• Emmaly Noeller (Canastota, N.Y.) registered 14 saves in three quarters of play for the Mustangs in net, before Jillian Buczkowski (Rome, N.Y.) finished out the final quarter with two stops.
• Morgan Archer (Deposit, N.Y.) and Skylar Henebery (Accord, N.Y.) each recorded a defensive save in the Mustang efforts across the afternoon.
