CORTLAND, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team battled a tough Cortland squad Tuesday evening, falling 3-1 in match action as they dropped set decisions of 15-25, 11-25, 25-16 and 14-25 in Cortland.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team trailed 2-0 in match action before taking a set from league leading SUNY Cortland Tuesday evening, but fell in the conference battle as the Red Dragons collected the 3-1 match victory in Cortland.
• Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) led the Mustang efforts with 17 kills, adding two aces and eight digs, while teammate Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.) contributed another six kills to go along with two blocks.
• Autumn Dailey (Smyrna, N.Y.) added three blocks at the net on the defensive side of the ball for Morrisville, while libero Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) paved the way with 14 defensive digs.
• Keely Shearer (Haslet, Texas) had 16 assists, with Cassandra Bellmore (Windsor, N.Y.) adding another 12.
• Morrisville was able to snag a set from Cortland in the third, outhitting the hosts 0.308 to -0.079 as the Red Dragons posted 11 hitting errors in the frame.
